The Persecution of the Family of "Adam" & "Felicia" in Pakistan

In 2010 a Muslim woman by the name of “Felicia” converted to Christianity and married a Christian named “Adam.”  Under Sharia Law, Muslim women cannot marry a non-Muslim man, so they both went to court and claimed “Adam” converted to Islam.  After they married, they both became Christian again.  Soon afterward, the police arrested “Adam" and members of his family but released them a few months later.  Despite this, they are not safe.  “Felicia's” family has been hunting them down ever since and wants to kill them both.  For under Sharia Law, leaving Islam is a death sentence.

What they want more than anything is asylum, the simple chance to live without fear for their lives and raise their children in peace.  Despite their danger, “Felicia” is happy with her husband and is glad she is saved by Jesus.  She still loves and misses her family, but fears what will happen if they’re ever found.  This couple struggles to feed, shelter, and provide and education for their children, but they are prepared to endure these hardships for their faith.
