Ongoing Terror in Quetta, Pakistan
On December 17, 2017, a suicide bomber attacked the Bethel Memorial Methodist Church in Quetta, Pakistan. Nine people were killed in the attack, with ISIS claiming responsibility for the atrocity. Situated near the Afghanistan border, Quetta mosques and churches have been regularly attacked by Jihadists supporting the Taliban and other extremist groups. Unfortunately, the terror for the Christian community is still ongoing.
In April of 2018, Islamist gunmen attacked and murdered four members of a Christian family in Quetta while they were on their way to meet with relatives to celebrate the holiday of Easter. This attack is just one of many incidents of radicals launching armed attacks against minority Shiites, Hindus, Christians, and Ahmadiyya's. Nobody in Quetta is safe from the Jihadists.
