The United Kingdom Abandons Asia Bibi

Asia Bibi's Husband & Daughter
In what can only be described as a shameful act, the United Kingdom has declared that their country will not grant asylum to Asia Bibi out of fear of upsetting "community relations."  This is nothing short of a travesty.  For eight years Asia Bibi has sat on death row despite committing no crime.  Radicals across the nation are calling for her death and have vowed to kill her.  There is no individual in the world that can make a stronger case for asylum to a Western Nation, yet the UK has chosen not to let her in.

This shameful pattern of conduct by the UK time and time again.  Some years back, the UK tried to deny asylum to Mende Nazer, a young woman for the South Sudan Nuba tribe who was abducted and sold into slavery when she was just a child by murderous Arab horsemen that were financed that the genocidal Sudanese regime.  After years of abusive treatment, her slave masters sent her to the UK to work for their relatives living in the country.  Fortunately, she was able to escape, yet the UK tried to deny her asylum out of fear of damaging relations with the nation of Sudan.  The UK also banned the Archbishop of Mosul, Nicodemus Daoud.  Yet the UK has no problem admitting Jihadist hate activists like Saudi Sheikh Mohammed al-Afrefe, who has openly supported Jihad against "Infidels."

UK Bans Iraqi Bishop, but allows Radical Jihadist Supporter to Enter

This hypocrisy by the UK has gone on for far too long.  The United Kingdom's selfish decision has raised the ire of many humanitarians within the country.  Even moderate British Imams have slammed the UK's decision and have demanded that Asia Bib and her family be granted safety.  Other Western Nations are now starting to raise their voice, demanding that Asia Bibi and other endangered Pakistani Christians be granted asylum in their nations.

Let us hope their voices are heard and the UK starts doing the right thing.
