Minnesota's Fifth Congressional District Is 'Terrorist Recruitment Capital Of The U.S.'

FBI statistics reveal that Minnesota's 5th Congressional District, represented in Congress by Ilhan Omar, is the terrorist recruitment capital of America.  This district contains a Somali population of nearly 100,000 & according to the FBI, 45 documented individuals from this are went overseas to join the Somali Islamic Jihadist insurgency group al-Shaabab & other terrorist groups in the Middle East & Africa.  Terrorist recruiters operating within the community have targeted the vulnerable Somali populace who are having difficulty assimilating into Western Society for indoctrination into fighting for their hateful cause.  

Part of the issue here is that there is a massive Somali Refugee population in Minnesota.  Many are unemployed and are living below the poverty line, which leads to many resorting to illegal activities.  In 2010 Somali gang ring engaged in massive credit card fraud & child prostitution.  However, poverty is not the only issue that we must address in this situation.  When people ask why Somalis have a hard time assimilating, some try to point out that other groups of immigrants such as Japanese-Americans, Irish, Italians, have also faced difficulties when coming to our nation.  However, what many of these people fail to realize is that while difficulties did indeed exist, the majority of people who lived in our nation regardless of where they fell on the ethnic or political category believe in the principles of the Constitution.  These principles remained intact throughout the various struggles our nation endured: The Civil War, The Equal Rights Movement, etc.  We recognize that we make mistakes and work to correct them.  However, when people come from nations like Somalia, they come having lived in a Sharia-based society, and the principles of Sharia and the principles of the Constitution are not compatible. 

Western Civilization is distinct from others in the fact that our civilization continually pursues freedom of thought, speech, democracy, & happiness.  Sharia-based societies do not abide by these principles.  Unfortunately, instead of urging Somalis to embrace the "American Dream," the Leftist media, leaders, and activists are continually urging us to compromise our values to accommodate the values of Sharia under the guise of being "culturally sensitive."  However, the Left fails to understand that there is a difference between being "culturally respectful" and what is "morally right and morally wrong."  Within these Middle East communities both in American and Europe there is a growing epidemic of immoral practices such as Female Genital Mutilation, Honor Violence, and Terrorist Recruitment.  While the Left insists that the problem is poverty and racism, they fail to understand that Sharia also plays a huge role in the trouble surrounding these communities.  The slogan of the Award Winning Documentary: Honor Diaries is a simple one: "Culture is not an excuse for Abuse," and neither is it an excuse for terrorists.   

We brought in over 136,000 Somali refugees, many formed enclaves and have openly threatened women, drove on lawns, and proclaiming Jihad.  The media ignores it and Governor Mark Dayton told complainers to move if they’re uncomfortable.  The Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other leftists have worked to silence all opponents of Sharia by labeling them as "Islamophobic" even though an increasing number of Muslims have also voiced their opposition to Sharia.  Groups like CAIR and the ACLU have repeatedly blocked counter-terrorism efforts and attempts to expose the danger of Sharia by hiding behind claims of "fighting for Civil Rights," yet they smear all those who try to expose the danger that the Sharia culture poses on our society.  

Reprentative Ilhan Omar has not taken an active role in stopping this either.  If anything, she's encouraging it.  In a 2013 interview, she actually blamed the 2013 Westgate Shopping Mall Attack in Nairobi, Kenya that left over 70 people dead on the America's involvement in the region and not on the al-Shabaab terrorists.  When individuals have been arrested for attempting to join these organizations, she has urged lenient jail sentencing.  Yet ironically, she is currently sitting on the Committee of Foreign Affairs!  

The Legendary Chinese General Sun Tzu is quoted as saying that "If you do not know your enemy, you will succumb in every battle."  Our unwillingness to understand how the Sharia culture encourages terrorism is imperiling us.  We not only fail to understand the ideology that enables these communities to become harbingers of terrorist recruitment, we fail to admit that this ideology even exists, and we appoint these deniers to sit on the command seats that are supposed to be protecting us from this threat.  Retired Department of Homeland Security agent Philip Haney confessed in his book See Something, Say Nothing that these policies are essentially blindfolding our counter-terrorism efforts, and unless we end this policy of "cultural sensitivity," things are only going to get worse, not only in Ilhan Omar's district, but the country as a whole.
