Hamas Sympathizers in America

The attack committed by Hamas was nothing short of a murderous travesty.  The attack came with no warning and it violated all the International Laws of War.  It was a deliberately planned massacre on civilians, regardless of sex and age.  However, what has been equally disturbing is the massive demonstrations coming out in support of Palestine in the aftermath of this horrendous attack and the number of people who feel that the attacks were, in some form, justified.  Across the United States, pro-Palestinian demonstrations have erupted with individuals openly expressing sympathy for Hamas, a murderous terrorist organization who follows the same ideology as ISIS and committed similar style massacres on innocent civilians.

At George Washington University, students lit up the exterior wall of the campus library with pro-Hamas messages, the most infamous of which read "Glory to our Martyrs."  This is a phrase Jihadists chant after a successful attack against an "Infidel" enemy.  It was nothing short of disgusting.  It would be equivalent to somebody lighting up the wall with a Nazi Swastika after a Neo-Nazi carried out an attack on one of their "enemies."  Natalie Sanandaji, who an American Jewish woman who survived the Hamas attack was horrified to return to her home city of New York only to be greeted by massive protests expressing sympathy toward Hamas.  She stated in a recent interview that she actually felt safer in Israel after the attack then she did in America (Link to Video).

Those who are sympathetic to what they see as the "Palestinian fight for self-determination" may try and argue that they are simply demonstrating for the lives of the Palestinian civilians who are being lost to the conflict, and that they are victims just like the Israelis who were massacred were also victims.

However, if the primary motive behind this is the sanctity of life, why then would they portray messages glorifying Hamas?  Moreover, why would these people rip down pictures of Israeli hostages if their main motivation was fighting for the sanctity of life?  Furthermore, why would mobs of pro-Palestinian protestors corner Jews in a campus library and force them to barricade themselves inside (Link to Video)?  The answer is that simple, but terrifying: these demonstrators, many of whom are young college students are motivated not by love, but by hate, a hate that his been slowing infiltrating our college campuses for decades.

Muslim Brotherhood documents dated in 1991 that were found years later by the FBI illustrated that they are engaging in a "Civilization Jihad" to bring down American from within (Link to Video).  Furthermore, Hamas formed as an offshoot of the Brotherhood, they are literally the Brotherhood's "armed wing" (Link to Video).  Hamas defector Mosab Hassan Yousef openly stated that the two organizations are one in the same.  It was therefore no surprise that Hamas militants used their terror tunnels to go into Egypt and support the Muslim Brotherhood when they took over the nation (Link to Video).  So naturally, the part of the Muslim Brotherhood's infiltration tactic is to cast Hamas in a sympathetic light, and they have successfully been doing this, especially on our college campuses.  Organizations such as Students for Justice in Palestine, the Muslim Students Association, the Muslim Students Union, the North American Islamic Trust, among many others, are directly linked to and supported by the Muslim Brotherhood.

The outpouring of demonstrations against Israel at these college campuses illustrates to us just how deeply the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our Universities.  A poll done recently showed that 48% of college students between ages 18-24 express more sympathy for Hamas then Israel, even at America's most elite universities.  Shortly after the attack, over 30 Student organizations at Harvard University put out a statement putting the blame for the slaughter committed by Hamas entirely on Israel and not calling on Hamas or any of their supporters to be held accountable for the horrible slaughter committed by the terrorist group.  It was only after a severe backlash in response to this that some of the Harvard organizations who signed this statement began to walk back on it.

It is very clear that many young students today are clueless about the true nature of this conflict.  They think it's about "land disputes" and that the Jews are colonizing the region.  What they don't understand is that Hamas doesn't want a separate state, they want an Islamic Caliphate.  They want what ISIS wants, and they want this Caliphate to be "Free of Jews."  They don't want a "Two-State Solution," but a "Final Solution."  However, the infiltration tactics of the Muslim Brotherhood cleverly conceals all of this.  The infiltrators, whether they be Muslim Brotherhood backed student organizations or sympathetic professors paint false narratives of the conflict and skew over the true intentions of Hamas.  Unfortunately, Leftists who have likewise infiltrated the universities and continually push that mentality that every conflict in the world is solely about "oppresses vs. oppressor" and naturally side idea that Hamas was born out of the mentality of "oppressed Palestinians resisting the oppressor" rather then the ideology of Jihad has only served to add fuel to the fire.

It is time for the American people who do know about the true nature of this conflict to push our campuses to stop teaching about this conflict from the perspective of "Oppressed vs. Oppressor" and to stop the influence of Jihad sympathizers who seek to use this mentality to manipulate the student bodies into supporting their causes.  It is time that the truth of this conflict be taught to the youth of our nation, that it's not about "land disputes" or "colonial resistance."  It's about Jihad.  It's about not only resurrecting the Caliphate, but expanding it so all of the world falls under it.  It's time for the sympathizers to wake up to the truth.
