Terrorists Target Children for Indoctrination

Former Neo-Nazi TJ Leyden detailed in his book "From Hate to Hope" how Neo-Nazi skinheads like himself targeted children for recruitment.  During his time in the Marines, he grew to understand the tactics used to break down and indoctrinate people, and he used this tactics to indoctrinate vulnerable youth into the Skinhead movement.  He would even sneak into schools to single out such children and pass out fliers, convincing them that their movement was the answer, the truth.  He knew the art of patience and gradual grooming, and within 18 months, he could succeed in turning a vulnerable youth into a full-fledged skinhead.  Terrorists are no strangers to the tactic of recruiting and indoctrinating youth.  In videos from Gaza we continually see young children with toy guns and military uniform, being trained in combat drills and instilled with hatred of Jews.  Nobody knows this reality better then Mosab Hasan Yousef, who found the strength to turn against the hatful indoctrination of Hamas and ultimately leave the terrorist group.

In a recent speech to the United Nations, Mosab spoke about his indoctrination as a child into Hamas.  He testified that the first crime that Hamas committed against the Palestinian children was to subject them to a religious indoctrination, an indoctrination that called solely for the annihilation of the State of Israel.  When he was 10-years-old, Mosab disobeyed Hamas for the first time, as punishment, one of the leaders of Hamas tied him to a post and beat him with an electric cord until he was unconscious.  They did this because they wanted to groom him into becoming exactly like them, and would not tolerate any defiance.  At the age of 18, Mosab was arrested in May of 1996.  While incarcerated, he witnessed Hamas terrorists in the prison system torturing and killing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners that they accused of being "collaborators."  After witnessing this for 16 months, Mosab made the decision to serve as a spy for Israel for 10 years.

Through groomed to blame Israel for everything, Mosab gradually learned to identify the enemy within, the corrupt religious leaders of Hamas who cared neither for Israeli lives or Palestinian lives.  They cared for nobody but themselves.  During his time as a spy, Mosab did everything in his power to stop Hamas from carrying out suicide bombings.  Dozens of attacks took place everywhere, on buses, parks, restaurants, universities, everywhere.  Nobody was safe from these bombings.  They killed Jews, Americans, Europeans, Holocaust Survivors, and Arabs.  They are in their mind waging a Holy War, and for this reason, no peace is possible.  They want an Islamic state, and for that, all the Jews must be killed.  The leaders of Hamas allow the children in Gaza to suffer while they hoard billions of dollars for themselves and live in luxury far away from the combat zone.  They gamble with the blood of children for political gain.  They willingly sacrificed the lives of thousands of children so Israel could take the blame.  They are the enemies of children & humanity, and the world does not accept this reality.

Mosab Hassan Yousef was not the only child subjected to testify to being subject to this kind of indoctrination.  Kamal Saleem, a former terrorist from Lebanon, confessed that as young as the age of four he was indoctrinated by his parents about the necessity of waging Jihad against the Infidel (Link to Testimony).  She taught him that becoming a martyr and dying for the sake of Islam was the greatest deed that a Muslim could do.  At the age of seven, he was sent by his parents to a terrorist training camp.  They were taught not only on how to use weapons and kill, but how to engage in Stealth Jihad, which involved going into the lands of their enemies (Ex. the U.S.) and using these same indoctrination skills to gather recruits and to help bring down the enemy from within.  Kamal Saleem came to the U.S. to do exactly this, but it was after Christian doctors saved his life when he got into a car wreck and broke his neck that he began to reconsider what it was he was doing.  Astounded that the people who he once considered his enemy not only saved his life, but took him into their own home to help him recover and aided him in paying his medical bills led him to realized that in truth it was the terrorist leaders who were the true evil, not the Infidels he had been indoctrinated into hating.  

Other former terrorists also attest to this tactic of child recruitment & indoctrination.  Former PLO Terrorist Tass Saada confessed in his memoir "Once and Arafat Man" that during his time in Fatah in the 1960's-70's that he taught children as young as nine on how to fight and kill.  In his memoir he confessed that he would regret doing this for the rest of his life.  Some say that "The First Casualty of War is Innocence."  If one believes this, then one must stand up to evils of Hamas and other Jihadist terrorists, for they are have stripped away the innocence (and ultimately the lives) of thousands of children.
