Ignoring the True Apartheid in Pakistan

Image
Over the years, I've heard of activists claiming Israel to be an Apartheid State. Yet I studied the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and learned that Israel provides medical treatment to all people, regardless of their faith, ethnicity, or skin color, and in the hospital all are treated simply as sick people and nothing else. Even terrorists and their families receive medical treatment. This is not the case in nations like Pakistan, where this Christian man was recently beaten to death by hospital staff and security guards simply for protesting that the doctor refused to grant medical treatment to his pregnant sister. Such is life for the minorities in Pakistan. Link to Article

The Persecution of the Family of "Adam" & "Felicia" in Pakistan

Image
In 2010 a Muslim woman by the name of “Felicia” converted to Christianity and married a Christian named “Adam.”  Under Sharia Law, Muslim women cannot marry a non-Muslim man, so they both went to court and claimed “Adam” converted to Islam.  After they married, they both became Christian again.  Soon afterward, the police arrested “Adam" and members of his family but released them a few months later.  Despite this, they are not safe.  “Felicia's” family has been hunting them down ever since and wants to kill them both.  For under Sharia Law, leaving Islam is a death sentence.  What they want more than anything is asylum, the simple chance to live without fear for their lives and raise their children in peace.   Despite their danger, “Felicia” is happy with her husband and is glad she is saved by Jesus.   She still loves and misses her family, but fears what will happen if they’re ever found.   T his couple struggles to feed, shelter, and provide and education for their

Mr. "Kennedy" and his Persecuted Family in Pakistan

Mr. "Kennedy" was a simple man who sold treats to children to support his wife and six children.  Yet it was his kindness that led to his persecution.  In the Spring of 2016 he was accused by Muslims of filling his ice cream cart with dirty and unholy items with the deliberate intention to try and poison Muslim children.  A mob soon gathered and beat him, stealing his money and breaking his bike.  The Pakistani Police did nothing about it.  They then threatened to shoot him if he didn’t stop selling ice cream.   For months he had no way to support his family and now he works as a cleaner for a pittance amount of $100 a month.  On such a low salary he cannot afford electricity, running water, education for his children, or medicine.  Sadly, this is a common theme for Pakistani Christian families forced to try and survive in a society that hates them.
