Pakistani Christian Mother of Five: Murdered for Refusing to Break her Marriage Vows

Image
In the village of Farooqabad in the Sheikhupura District of Pakistan, a Christian Mother of five children by the name of Amara Bibi lost her life.  While with her family in the village one day, a young Muslim man approached Amara and told her that he wanted to have a relationship with her.  Amara refused and told the man that he should be ashamed of himself as he knew full well that she was married with five children.  This made the Muslim man very angry and he began to curse her, warning that if she did not agree to a relationship, that he would kill her. This evil man made good on his promise.  On Aug. 07, 2018, this man came to her home at 2am, jumped over her house wall, and shot her three times in the stomach with a pistol while she was sleeping.  Amara's family took her to the Mew Hospital in Lahore, where she spent two-weeks fighting for her life.  On August 21, 2018, Amara succumbed to her wounds and lost her life.  She leaves behind a husband and five children.  Her

Hunted Across the World: The Story of Dr. Ahmed Mansour

Image
Dr. Ahmed Mansour is a Muslim from Egypt.  Born in March of 1949, Dr. Mansour graduated from Al-Azhar University (the most prestigious Islamic University in the world), in 1973.  Dr. Mansour also served as a professor for the University until he was fired in 1987.  Dr. Mansour was fired due to his opposition to Sharia Law, which angered the radical Wahabbist Muslims who over they years have gained control of both the University and most of Egyptian society.  Dr. Mansour's support of democracy, equal rights, and tolerance went directly against the views of the Wahabbists, who had Dr. Mansour fired, persecuted, and eventually arrested.  Many of Dr. Mansour's colleagues were assassinated for sharing his views.  Among those was Farag Foda, an Egyptian-Muslim activist who was assassinated in 1992 for fighting for the equal rights for women in Egyptian society.  Foda was assassinated in 1992.   Dr. Mansour explains that the Egyptian society is trapped between two Devils.  The cor

Pakistani Christian Teenager Severely Beaten for Drinking Water

Image
On August 20th, 2018, a 17-year-old by the name of Sager was working at a motorcycle shop.  During his workday, he took a drink of water from the same glass that his Muslim coworkers also used to drink from.  Several Muslims immediately confronted him over this, screaming "You are Christian, you are Un-Holy!"  They then began to beat him.  Several other shop employees stopped the beating and sent everybody home.  The next day, as Sager was walking to work, these same attackers jumped him in the street and smashed a big stone into his leg, breaking it.   Sager is from a very poor family.  His mother works as a maid, and his father as a painter.  They have four children and barely enough money to get by.  Sager was working to try and help ease their burden, now the family is faced with even greater difficulties now that Sager is out of work and will need medical treatment to recover.  We must try and help poor families like Sager with their burden.   Through a donation to Exp

Justice for Binish Paul

Image
In August of 2018, a young Christian and student of 10th class by the name of Binish Paul of Karachi was severely injured in a deliberate attack by a Muslim man.  Tahir Abbas, a young Muslim who lived near her approached the parents of Binish and asked them for her hand in marriage.  Her parents declined his offer, citing their religious differences.  Angered by their refusal, Tahir confronted Binish and requested that she convert to Islam so they can marry.  Binish refused, stating she did not believe in Islam and did not love him.  In a fit of rage, Tahir threw Binish off the roof of the building, severely injuring her legs.   Though the police took a report on the incident, they initially did not arrest Tahir as he soon began bribing the police and baying the medical doctors to change their reports so they did not reveal that he was responsible for Binish's injuries.  It also  didn't take long before Tahir began threatening Binish's family.  The authorities finally

Three Children Made Orphans after Pakistani Christian Father was Murdered

Image
On August 16, 2018, Wakey Slam, a Christian employee for the High Court of Lahore, was attacked on a back road in Lahore.  For reasons we do not yet know, three Muslims opened fire on Wakey Slam.  His brother rushed him to the hospital, where Wakey died of his gunshot wounds.  Wakey Slam's three children are now orphans due to this senseless act of violence, and to be an minority orphan in a hostile nation is a very grim circumstance to be in.   As we speak, members of the Pakistani Christian Community are trying to help these orphans, but they need our support.  Through a tax-free donation to Express Missions International , we can help these poor orphans.  By noting that you want your donation to go to the A&R Relief Project, we can help Wakey Slam's children and many others who have lost their parents to these senseless acts of violence.

Hate Crime in Pakistan costs Christian Man his Eye

Image
On August 18th, 2018, a Christian man by the name of Alvin Jan was working in a nursing home in the City of Karachi, Pakistan.  At 11pm, a mob of Muslims broke into his home and severely beat him.  The reason for their heinous attack was that Alvin rented a home in a predominantly Muslim neighborhood.  This severe, unprovoked beating ultimately cost Alvin one of his eyes.  Though the police promised to take action, no arrests have been made yet, and it's very likely that none will be made.   Christians often suffer severe beatings at the hands of violent Islamists in Pakistan, and they are met with a mixture of indifference and outright hostility from the prejudicial Pakistani police force.  Alvin is just one of the many Pakistani Christians who fall victim to this vicious persecution, and sadly, most never have their stories told.

Five-year-old Girl Raped in Pakistan

Image
Several months ago, a five-year-old Christian Girl was raped by a Pakistani Muslim man in the city of Sialkot.  The little girl, by the name of Arooj, left her home to go to a nearby shop to buy some candy.  On her way to the shop, this predator abducted her, took her out into the fields, and raped her.  In any decent, civil society, this man would have been thrown in prison for the rest of his life for his heinous act, but not in Pakistan.  This rapist is still walking free because the corrupt Pakistani Police pay little regard to the welfare of minority women in their society.   Minority women, even little girls, are constantly preyed upon in this hostile society where demented men consider these innocent women to be fair game.  Unfortunately, it's also an evil tactic that is used by radical Islamists in the country.  The Islamists want the Christians to either convert to Islam, or leave, and they use rape as a method to accomplish this goal, knowing that the police will seld

Antifa's Brown Shirt Tactics

Image
In the year 1925, the Nazi Storm Detachment, better known as the Brown Shirts, used harassment & boycotts to silence those who disagreed with their views.  In one notorious example, the Brown Shirts urged students to boycott the lectures of Jewish Philosopher Theodor Lessing, an early opponent of the rising Nazi movement.  For nearly a year the Brown Shirts would harass Lessing, shout him down during his classes, and threaten him with physical attack.  Eventually, Lessing was forced to resign his position.   Today, we are witnessing the so called "Anti-Fascist" group Antifa use the exact same tactics to silence those who disagree with their views.  It has reached the point that some universities like Berkeley have literally become war-zones, with armed SWAT Team forces being called in to protect peaceful conservative speakers like Ben Shapiro.  In 2017 at Middlebury College in Vermont, Charles Murray was scheduled to have a dialogue with moderate democrat Allison Strang

The Dark Side of Dubai: The Case of Alicia Gali

Image
In the year 2008 Alicia Gali, a young Australian women who working as a beautician at a resort hotel in Dubai, was drugged, beaten, gang raped by three of her co-workers.  After the rape, Alicia did the natural thing and reported the incident to the local police.  Unfortunately, she did not realize that in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), sex outside of marriage, kissing, or even holding hands, can get a woman imprisoned.   Often, when a woman is raped, they are charged with having sex outside of marriage and are themselves imprisoned, unless they provide irrefutable proof that they are raped.   Alicia didn't learn this until it was too late.  Shortly after reporting her rape to the police, Alicia and her three rapists were arrested and sent to prison on a 1-year prison sentence for having sexual relations outside of marriage.  Alicia was not only unjustly imprisoned by the U.A.E police, she was abandoned by both her employers and her own government.  Her hotel refused

Mother Imprisoned in Dubai with her Child for Drinking Wine.

Image
Dr. Ellie Holman was on a flight from London to Dubai when she was offered a glass of wine on the flight.  However, she failed to realize that such a think was considered "illegal" in Dubai, and apparently this even applies if you're on a flight from a Western nation to Dubai.   A person can be charged with possession if traces of alcohol are found in their blood, even in cases where it was consumed on a flight or in a different country.   Upon landing, Dr. Holman and her four-year-old daughter were incarcerated for three days in a filthy cell.  Though released, Dr. Holman feared that she may not be allowed to leave as she was threatened to be imprisoned for a year.  Luckily, her case was heard by human rights activists, and under intense pressure, Dubai agreed to allow Dr. Holman to leave the country with her daughter.   Despite being freed, the incident cost Dr. Holman tens of thousands of British Pounds ($20,000-30,000), which has placed severe strains on her famil

Ecuador Closing Borders to Venezuela Refugees

Image
These past few months, many have criticized the U.S. policies of securing their border and turning away illegal migrants, yet other nations are now doing the same thing.  In the wake of Venezuela's ongoing deterioration, the nation of Ecuador is not beginning to close their border to the ever-increasing influx of Venezuelan refugees.  Since 2014 over 2 million Venezuelans have fled their country, with over over 500,000 going to Ecuador.  Now Ecuador's leaders are stating that they can no longer take in such massive numbers of migrants.   Many refugees, who have been reduced to eating garbage to survive, are now facing closed borders not only in Ecuador, but also in Columbia & Brazil.  The mass influx of refugees has created destabilization and violence in the neighboring nations and leaders and residents alike are stating that they do not have the resources or ability to accommodate so many desperate people.  Making matters worse, radicals have mixed in with the refugees

Culture is not an Excuse for Abuse: The Story of Yasmine Mohammed

Image
Tolerance once meant that we would treat others with respect, even if we did not agree with each other’s views.  Now, Tolerance is being defined as embracing all views are equally valuable and true (even if these views often make opposite claims).  Unfortunately, this re-definition of "Tolerance" is creating a society in which we brush off abuses committed on people in other cultures as simply being "Cultural Relativism."  They're simply doing what is right in their society, and while it would be seen as wrong in our society, for the sake of "Tolerance," we simply have to accept that there is no "Absolute Truth," and must therefore, not take action when people are being abused in other societies in order to be respectful of their "cultural" or "religious" practices.  Relativism is in truth creating a society which  morality no longer exists, which in turn creates a society of "do nothings" in the face of moral ev

Ben Shapiro & The Little Rock Nine

Image
Over 10 years ago I purchased and read the book "Warriors Don't Cry" by Melba Pattillo Beals.  Ms. Beals was one of the the nine students who volunteered to be the first African American students to attend the previously all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.  As I read her book, I was shocked at just how much danger she and her students were in, how they nearly lost their lives for the simple right to receive an equal educational opportunity.  To simply go to school and learn.  I was horrified as I read how the students had to face down mobs who wanted to lynch them, and how in the end President Eisenhower was forced to send in the 101st Airborne Division to once again, fight Fascism.  This time, instead of battling the Fascists on the beaches of Normandy, they were fighting them in the very heartland of America.  When I finished reading this book, I said to myself "Thank God those days in our country are long gone."  Boy was I wrong.   Le

Oslo: Arafat's Trojan Horse

Image
In 1993, many in the world were hopeful that peace between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization was finally at hand, but the truth was, it was all a lie.  Arafat never intended to make peace.  The Palestinian Authority has rejected every offer for peace and has violated the 1993 Oslo Accord by not removing the calls for the destruction of the nation of Israel from its charter, nor have they taken matters to halt the funding and encouragement of terrorist attacks, despite promising to do so. While he claiming to desire peace, Arafat repeatedly contradicted this when he met with Arab leaders.  When speaking to the leaders of Arab nations, Arafat vowed to drive all the Jews from Jerusalem, even if it took 100 years.  He further stated that the 1993 Oslo Accord was in truth nothing more than another “Treaty of Hudaybiyyah,” which was an agreement signed by the Islamic prophet Muhammad with the city of Mecca in which the two factions pledged not to fight each other for

The Occupation did not Create Terrorism: Terrorism Created the Occupation

Image
In our desire to see lasting peace between Israel and Palestine, we are losing focus on the most important thing, and that is the truth.  Many incorrectly believe that Israel's ongoing occupation of the West Bank (Judea & Samaria), is the principle reason for the ongoing terrorist attacks against Israel.  However, this is not true.  Prior to the 1967 War there were no Jews at all living in the West Bank or in Gaza.  Despite this, armed Palestinian Terrorists, known as Fedayeen, launched thousands of terrorist attacks against the Israeli nation throughout the 1950's & 1960's.  These Fedayeen raids were an ongoing factor that played a crucial role in Israel's decision to enter the conflicts in 1956 & 1967.  Nobody know this better than Nonie Darwish.  Born in Gaza in 1949, Nonie lost her Father at a young age as he was killed for leading terrorist attacks against Israel.  Throughout the 1950's-60's Nonie's father and other Fedayeen leader

Gaza under Egypt: 1949-1967

Image
In the aftermath of Israel's War of Independence in 1948, the territory known as the Gaza Strip fell under the control of Egypt.  At the time that Egypt's occupation began, there were around 300,000 Arabs living in the strip.  When Egypt controlled the Gaza strip, it ruled with an iron fist.  All political parties that were not approved by the Egyptian government were banned.  Free elections were not held.  The arrest and torture of dissidents without any trial or due process was common.  The refugees living in the strip were subject to a daily curfew, and were often shot if they violated it.  Egyptians seized property in Gaza at will while denying refugees the right to purchase their own.   The entire Strip became nothing more than a prison camp.  Egyptians took little, if any effort, to help the people.  No attempt was made to build a stable economy.  There were scant medical care available.  No efforts were made to improve sanitation, and thousands were pressed to serve

Khartoum 1967: No Peace, No Recognition, & No Negotiation

Image
After Israel's victory over the Arab Nations in June of 1967, the Arab nations called for a summit in Khartoum in September 1st, 1967.  Representatives from the Arab Nations of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Algeria, and the Sudan met to discuss their policy with Israel.  The decision, was simple & to the point: "No Peace, No Recognition, No Negotiation."  Time and again, Israel offered land back in exchange for lasting peace, and the response has always been the same: No.  It would make no difference if Israel was willing to give back all of the West Bank and Gaza in order to create another Arab State; the war against Israel would continue until Israel no longer existed.   When some nations tried later to defy the "Three No's" the responses where brutal.  Anwar Sadat, the Egyptian President who made peace with Israel, was soon assassinated after doing so and Egypt was expelled from the Arab League.  Yaser Arafat himself stated that one

Christian Martyrdom vs. Islamic Martyrdom

Image
When I examined the scriptures of Islam and Christianity, I found that despite the similarities that existed on the surface, when you went into the core of the faiths, they are as different as night and day.  Everything that is taught about the nature of God, what he wants of us, how he views us, and how he wants us to treat each other, are so profoundly different, that they cannot be reconciled.  Even simple things such as prayer are viewed very differently between the two faiths.  However, no difference is more profound than the concept of martyrdom.   The word Martyr was originally a Greek term meaning “Witness.”  The term of martyrdom in Christianity evolved because the Disciples of Christ gave their lives being "Witnesses for Christ."  They professed to have witnessed his message and they gave their lives to testify to the entire known world what they had witnessed.  This trend of martyrdom has continued every since.  In the Christian concept, martyrdom means persec

The Taliban's Ongoing War Against Women

Image
Many in the world know about Malala Yousafzai, the courageous Pakistani girl who stood up for her right to an education, and nearly lost her life at the hands of the Taliban.  Malala and two other girls were shot by the Taliban in the October of 2012.  The assassination attempt made headlines all over the world, turning Malala into an international icon.  She has become the face of the struggle for the equal rights of women in Islamic nations.   What many are not aware of is that while her plight brought increased attention to the suffering of women under the Taliban, it has not dissuaded the Taliban from their goals.  In fact, the Taliban's War on the equality of Women is still ongoing is Pakistan right now, nearly six years after Malala nearly lost her life.   The Taliban believe that under Islamic Sharia Law, women must accept an inferior status in society.  The Taliban firmly believe that women should never occupy a high status within society, and any offer of education would

Of 62 Gazans Killed; 53 were Terrorists

Image
Not long ago, the media launched harsh condemnation against Israel for defending her borders from an armed attack.  During the recent actions in Gaza, Hamas deliberately sent thousands of militants armed with guns, knives, and Molotov cocktails to try and storm across the Gaza border and launch direct attacks on Israeli civilians.  No rational person in the world would call such an act a "Peaceful Protest."  Any nation in the world would have considered this an armed assault on their country, and they would have taken appropriate military action to stop it.   During this armed assault on Israel's border,  Hamas set up loudspeakers throughout the area urging Gaza civilians, including women and children, to join in the in charge against the fortified border, during which Hamas terrorists deliberately hid among civilians in order to carry out their armed attacks against Israel.   Shortly after the media condemned Israel for killing 62 Gazans during the border attack, H

Hamas War Crimes on Israel & Gaza

Image
There are too many in the world who believe that peace and security can be made between Israel and Gaza if we make more demands on Israel for concessions and appeasement.  Unfortunately, the facts say otherwise.  These past few months we have witnessed Hamas committing multiple war crimes against both Israel and the people of Gaza.  The Fire Kite attacks committed by Hamas against Israel serve no military value.  They are not launching attacks against any designated military site, they are simply seeking to do as much economic and environmental damage as the can to the Israeli civilian infrastructure.  So far, the fire kites have caused millions of dollars in damage to Israeli farms, and destroyed over 8,000 acres of land.  Experts state that it could take years for Israel to recover from these attacks.   These attacks on the Israeli is an act of Ecocide, a deliberate attack on the natural environment of a region made for the sole purpose to make the region unlivable to the na
