Throughout the history of the world, no nation or Empire ever claimed Jerusalem as its national capital with the exception of the Nation of Israel.    Though the region continually changed hands between various Empires over the next 1900 years, no group of people tried at any point to declare a sovereign nation in this region with Jerusalem as its capital, and at no point did it serve as the capital of any of the Islamic Empire.   When the nation of Jordan took over the West Bank along with East Jerusalem in 1949, they never proclaimed East Jerusalem to be the capital, nor did the PLO when they first formed in 1964.  In truth, the PLO originally formed as an umbrella organization for numerous Palestinian Terrorist groups with the aim of fighting to eliminate Israel in the effort to create a unified Arab state.  In fact, Article 24 of the original PLO charter stated that the PLO claimed no sovereignty over the West Bank, Gaza, or East Jerusalem.   ...

In Surah 9:29 of of the Qur'an, Muslims are instructed to do the following: "Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who di not consider unlawful what Allah and his Messenger have made lawful and do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the scripture (Jews and Christians) until they pay Jizya willingly and are utterly subdued. So why pray tell does the Qur'an command Muslims to fight the Jews and Christians?  The answer is in the very next verse in Surah 9:30- "The Jew say, ' Ezra is the Son of Allah' and the Christians say 'The Messiah (Jesus) is the Son of Allah."  That is the statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved.  May Allah destroy them, how are they deluded? Now let us look at Muhammad’s objections to the Trinity.  As we both know, Muhammad came from a heavily polytheist region, but he later became an ardent monotheist, following what we would today call “Unitarian monotheism.”  Therefore, it is only natural that Muhammad would object to the Trinity.  Alt hough Muhammad objects to the Trinity, it seems that he is not correctly describing it.  Surah 39:4 , the Qur’an states: “Had it been God’s Will to adopt a Son, He would have chosen whom he pleased out of his creation. The Islamic faith continually objects to the Christian Doctrine of the Trinity, but the question we must ask is "Do the Islamic objections have validity?"  To answer that question, we have to look at what the Trinity is, and analyze the Islamic objections to it.  There are entire books written about the doctrine of the Trinity, so for the essence of time, I’ll provide a summary.  The first issue we come up with is trying to understand an infinite God within our finite minds.  How can we express in words Infinite Truth?  Examples aren’t exact, but give us an idea.  God is completely unique- Isaiah 40:25 “To whom will you liken to me?”  God is not limited to time and space, as we are, there are no limitations to his being.  Words that we use often carry excess baggage.  So to summarize the doctrine, I’ll describe it as such: “Within one Being that is God there exists eternally three coequal and coeternal persons, namely the Father, the Son...
