Pakistan Demands Western Leaders Adopt Sharia Blasphemy Laws

Image
In the wake of the arrest and jailing of two innocent Christian women on the charge "blasphemy," Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has not only failed to take any action to abolish these unjust laws in his country, he is now demanding that Western nations adopt them.  Prime Minister Khan stated that "free speech" should not include "blaspheming Muhammad" in anyway.  To defend his position, Prime Minister Khan stated that the West understand that questioning the Holocaust hurts Jewish sentiments of the Jewish community, and they should treat the issue of "insulting Muhammad" in the same manner. Prime Minister Imran Khan issued this demand following intense pressure from Pakistan's Tehreek-e-Labbaik Party (TLP).  The TLP has long supported Pakistan's Blasphemy Laws.  They not only advocated for the execution of Asia Bibi, a Christian mother who spent 8 years on death row due to a blasphemy conviction, but the also called for the death of ...

Pakistani Christian Nurses Accused of Blasphemy

Image
Even during the COVID Pandemic, Blasphemy Laws are under full-swing in Pakistan.  On April 09, 2021, Staff Nurse Mariam Lal and Student Nurse Neush Arooj were arrested by Pakistani police under section 295-B of Pakistan's Blasphemy code.  Two two nurses, who worked in a Faisalabad Hospital, were accused of blasphemy after Neush Arooj removed a sticker with a Qur'anic passage on it from a cupboard that she was cleaning.  Under section 295-B, these women could face a sentence of life in prison.  However, for many Pakistanis, this punishment isn't severe enough.  As they were being arrested, a mob gathered and began chanting: "Beheading the Only Punishment for Blasphemer."   As the two nurses were being arrested, one of the hospital ward staff, Muhammad Waqas, attacked Mariam Lal with a knife, wounding her in the arm.  Muhammad Waqas called Lal a "Filthy daughter of a Bitch" and stated that he wished he had killed her.  The two nurses defended t...

Sri Lanka Easter Bombing: Two Years Later

Image
During Easter of 2019, Jihadist Terrorists bombed three churches and three hotels in Sri Lanka, killing 267 and wounding over 500 more.  The attack, which was one of the worst terrorist attacks in recent years, was carried out by ISIS terrorists who used the same type of explosive that they used when they bombed three churches in Indonesia in 2018; the bombing of Manchester, England in 2017; and the 2015 attack on Paris.  This explosive device used is appropriately named by ISIS as the "Mother of Satan."   The attacks shocked the nation of Sri Lanka.  Sri Lanka is a predominantly Buddhist nation, and most Christian persecution up until now came from Buddhist extremists.  Though the nation had endured a 26-year Civil War between the Buddhist Sinhalese and separatist Hindu Tamils, Christians and Muslims represented a small minority of the population, with Christians making up 7% of the population and Muslims 10%, with neither religious group launching a ...

How the Word "Tolerance" Became Redefined

Image
T olerance used to be the attitude that we took toward one another about an important issue, but agreed to treat each other with respect, even if we refused to embrace other’s view on a particular topic.  In short, we may disagree with each other over a religious, political, or societal issue, but we will show each other respect and treat each other with decency, as the Lord Jesus decreed in Matthew 7:12: "Do to others as you would have them do to you.  For this is the essence of the Law of the Prophets."              However, our secular society has over the years redefined the meaning of Tolerance .  Now many are defining Tolerance as recognizing and embracing all views as equally valuable and true, even if the make opposite claims about truth.  Many today are being taught that embracing this new definition of Tolerance means that we must accept that fact that "Objective Truth Doesn't Exist."  ...

The Poor Widows of Pakistan

Image
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world hard.  No nation has escaped it.  In Pakistan, the pandemic has taken a particular harsh toll on the poor widows of the nation, particularly those who are adherents of a minority faith.  These widows were already struggling to support themselves and their children before the pandemic, and now with the economy devastated, many have no means to sustain themselves.  Most cannot even count on aid from local churches who have also been forced to bear terrible financial burdens due to the ongoing crisis.   We have been doing all that we can to lend a helping hand to the some of the widows of the Pakistani Christian Community.  These are some of the widows we doing our utmost to help.   Tariq Masih lost his wife in April of 2020.  The COVID-19 pandemic forced the Pakistani government to shut down the nation, making it impossible for Tariq and his wife to work and support their children.  Tariq'...

Uyghur Genocide & Social Justice Hypocrisy

Image
Beginning in 2014, the Chinese Government started a vicious campaign against the Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang region of their nation.  It is now estimated that approximately 2 million Uyghur's have been detained in Internment Camps.   The Chinese Communist Party has justified their action that it's a necessary measure against militant Uyghur Separatists, and that the the camps are for the purpose of "Re-education."  However, they're much more than a mere "safety precaution."  Reports reveal that the prisoners are subject to brainwashing, forced labor & sterilization.  Throughout the camps, the Uyghur's are brought into classrooms and are indoctrinated into forgetting their culture & history and conform to mainstream Chinese beliefs & practices.   Now, reports are coming out from female Uyghur's who have recently been freed that Uyghur Muslim women have been repeatedly gang raped.  The BBC reported that Uyghur women testified th...
