Respect Diversity: Except for Diversity of Thought

All my life I've heard people telling me that we need to respect diversity, that we're all different & unique.  I agree.  No two people are exactly alike.  However, there are many these days who are not respecting "Diversity of Thought."  It seems that many people in the world believe that while we need to respect that we all "look differently," we can't respect that people "think differently."  Those who try to do so are being smeared and punished, such was the case for Kathy Zhu, a University of Michigan Student and the winner of the Miss Michigan Pageant.  Kathy Zhu, was scheduled to represent her state at the Miss World America Pageant in Las Vegas.  However, the organization recently stripped of her title, citing that she made "racist Tweets" in 2017 & 2018.  What were those "racist Tweets" all about?  Well in one Kathy Zhu stated that the African American community should focus on fixing the problems within their communities instead of scapegoating others for their problems.  Her other Tweet was critical of a "Try on a Hijab" booth operated by Muslim students.  Her Tweet stated that  women all over the world are oppressed by the Hijab, yet it's being passed off as a "fashion choice."  
Kathy Zhu's statements were not racist, they were honest and factual.  Many African American activists such as C. Mason Weaver, Jason Riley, Jack Brewer, & Dr. Ben Carson essentially said the same thing she did.  Kathy Zhu's comment on the Hijab issue is also accurate.   Muslim women all over the world have been imprisoned, even murdered for not wearing a Hijab.  In Iran, numerous women's rights activists, men and women alike, have been imprisoned for fighting for women's rights, which includes the right to not have to wear a  Hijab.  Even in Western nations, Muslim women like Aqsa Parvez of Canada were murdered for not wearing a Hijab.  

 Did the organization of this Beauty Pageant stop and consider these facts before they unjustly stripped Kathy Zhu of her Title?  The answer is no, and it's because the Regressive Left is blinding the people of our nation to these realities.

Jihadists World-Wide Celebrate Massacres in Israel

Hamas and Their Child Soldier Training Camps
