The Fruit of the Devil

The recent breakout of war between Russia and Ukraine has taken the entire world by storm.  The images that we see of buildings exploding and civilians being injured in a war of aggression is very sad and disheartening, but the sad truth it is only one of many wars that are raging across our world.  Whether it's Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, the raging Civil War in Syria, the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict, or the continuing conflict between Armenia & Azerbaijan, there is one thing that all of these wars have in common, they're the Fruit of the Devil.  

Matthew 7:17-18 teaches us that a good tree bears good fruit, and a bad tree bears bad fruit.  The seeds of the good tree is Jesus, who sows the seeds of love, compassion, empathy, and forgiveness.  The Devil sows the seeds of hatred, envy, arrogance, abuse of power, and greed.  These are what motivates the conflicts we see all over the world.  When we allow the Devil to plant his seeds within us, we see the result of the "rotten fruit" in the destroyed buildings, the wounded civilians, and the repression of those who courageously stand up and denounce these actions.  


While many put the blame on the dictators like Putin for what we are seeing, we must remember that these seeds can infect any of us.  The very seeds that were sowed into Putin which lead are also sowed in dictators like Assad, in soldiers like the ISIS death squads, and citizens like American Neo Nazis.  While they may have different motives and varying levels of power, they all have one thing in common, they all are displaying the bad fruit that is the result of the seeds sown by the Devil.

Jihadists World-Wide Celebrate Massacres in Israel

The Plague of Jihad is all over the world.  The past few days has witnessed Israel suffer the most horrific attack that it has endured since the October War of 1973, yet for all of the senseless death, for all of the footage that we see of Hamas militants murdering Israelis in cold blood, many in the world are in fact celebrating this atrocity.   Hamas Supporters in Canada In Iran, crowds of Hamas supporters took to the streets to celebrate the slaughter of Israelis by Hamas while their government leaders lavished praise on the terrorists ( Link to Article ).  In the nation of Turkey, Hamas supporters crowded the streets of Istanbul chanting "Allahu Akbar" & "Khaybar Khaybar Ya Yahud" ( Link to Video ).  "Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud, jaish Muhammad soufa ya'oud" is the full version of the chant.  It translates to "Khaybar Khaybar or Jews, the Army of Muhammad will return."  For those unfamiliar with the context of this chant, Khaybar was the

Hamas and Their Child Soldier Training Camps

For years the world has known that Hamas deliberately targets children for indoctrination and training to carry out terrorist missions.  They have camps throughout Gaza and other areas of the Middle East where children are taught to hate, & trained to kill.  These camps are often referred to as "Summer Youth Camps."  The titles sound harmless enough, but unlike the summer youth camps in the U.S. and other Western nations where children play games, do crafts, and in general, have fun, the Hamas "Summer Youth Camps" are nothing like this.  They're training camps, where children are trained in weapons handling, military drills, and are indoctrinated to "hate the Infidel," particularly Jews.   Link to Video On videos that have circulated across the online world, these children have openly confessed that they have come here for the purpose of learning to fight.  One such video surfaced on MEMRI with a child openly stating "We did not come here to e
