Is Questioning & Criticizing Ideas Hate Speech?

Image
In our politically correct society, many people are asking whether or not there need to be limits to free speech.  If we need to simply outlaw hate speech altogether and make it a criminal offense.  However, many seem to misunderstand the concept of free speech.  Now obviously there have to be some limits on what we say in our society.  For instance, we cannot threaten to kill people or physically harm them.  This includes making bomb threats or shooting threats.  We cannot yell fire in a crowded building when there is no fire.  However, our First Amendment Rights permit us to question and criticize any individual or ideology in the world, whether it is societal, political, or spiritual.   Let us consider some examples.  In our nation, we have the right to criticize the views and policies of political leaders, whether they're governors, congressmen, or the President.  We likewise have the right to criticize the views and actions o...

Palestinian Arabs Confess that Arab Leaders Created the Palestinian Refugees

Image
Former PLO Terrorist Tass Saada was born  in a tent in a refugee camp in Gaza City in 1951.   Prior to the outbreak of the 1948 War, his father co-owned an Orange Grove in Jaffa with a Jewish friend and business partner.  When the 1948 War broke out, his father's friend and business partner begged him not to leave, pleading with him to stay and wait until the fighting ended to make his decision.   Unfortunately, Tass's father followed the orders of the Arab governments of Jordan, Syria, & Egypt and “stepped aside” so the Arab League could drive the Zionists into the sea.   These leaders told the "Palestinian Arabs via radio, leaflets, and numerous other outlets to leave their homes and make room for the Arab combat legions to get through, assuring them that they would return to their homes after their victory.   As a result, over 700,000 Arabs became displaced, and most of their descendants have remained displaced due to the cruel polic...

Minnesota's Fifth Congressional District Is 'Terrorist Recruitment Capital Of The U.S.'

Image
FBI statistics reveal that Minnesota's 5th Congressional District, represented in Congress by Ilhan Omar, is the terrorist recruitment capital of America.  This district contains a Somali population of nearly 100,000 & according to the FBI, 45 documented individuals from this are went overseas to join the Somali Islamic Jihadist insurgency group al-Shaabab & other terrorist groups in the Middle East & Africa.  Terrorist recruiters operating within the community have targeted the vulnerable Somali populace who are having difficulty assimilating into Western Society for indoctrination into fighting for their hateful cause.   Part of the issue here is that there is a massive Somali Refugee population in Minnesota.  Many are unemployed and are living below the poverty line, which leads to many resorting to illegal activities.  In 2010 Somali gang ring engaged in massive credit card fraud & child prostitution.  However, poverty is no...

The Persecution of the Ahmadiyya

Image
In the year 1889, Indian spiritual leader  Mirzā Ghulām Ahmad formed what is today called the Ahmadiyya sect of Islam in what is today the Punjab District of Pakistan.  The Ahmadiyya sect of Islam follows the Five Pillars of Islam as well as the Six Articles of Faith that is mandated for all Muslims.  However, what sets them apart from the other sects of Islam is their belief that the founder,  Mirzā Ghulām Ahmad, was the promised "Mahdi," or "Redeemer of Islam."  The standard criticism leveed against the Ahmadis is that Surah 33:40 states that Muhammad is the last of the prophets, and that Ahamdis are heretics for accepting  Mirzā Ghulām Ahmad as another Prophet of Allah.   However, Ahmadis counter this view by stating that all are awaiting the coming of another Prophet because Surah 43:61  states that Jesus will eventually return.   Ahmadis believe that  Mirzā Ghulām Ahmad is the fulfillment of the promise of the ret...

Common Sense & Common Decency

Image
In our world of diversity and conflicting views, we often ask ourselves "How do we cope with conflicting ideas?  How do we protect the rights of some while not trampling on the rights of others?  Do we show double standards when trying to promote tolerance?  Is it right for us to force people to violate their standards of morality?"  These are pretty good questions, but frankly, many of them can be resolved by applying two things that are increasingly lacking in our society: Common sense & common decency. Let us consider some examples: Scenario #1: Should we force a doctor to perform an abortion if it violates his sense of morality?    Well when we turn to common sense, we can say that a doctor who does not agree to abortion should not take a job at an abortion clinic.  In addition, even the most ardent "pro-life activists" would agree that if performing an abortion is a necessary medical procedure to save the life of the mother and there...

Political Prisoners in the "Palestinian Territories"

Image
While the  world continues to obsess with Israel's "Crimes against Humanity," they continually ignore the numerous human rights violations being community by Palestinian Leaders.  Most of those who are detained are done so simply because they are critical of the leadership of the Palestinian Authority.  Many of their relatives have been appealing for their release, some have even staged hunger strikes in protest.   Some of the detainees belong to other terrorist groups like Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad who are currently at odds with the Palestinian Authority, while others are simply human rights activists who are tired of the Palestinian Authority's ongoing corruption and human rights abuses.  Many of those detained are subject to various forms of torture, but in spite of the ongoing protests, it is unlikely that the UN will take any action.   Take, for example, the UN Human Rights Council, which in the last 12 years passed  76 (out...

New York Turns a Symbol of Life into a Symbol of Death

Image
A Color of Life to a Color of Death For years, the color of pink has been used to symbolize the fight against Breast Cancer, a terrible disease that has taken the lives of so many people in the U.S., and estimated 40,000 in 2018 alone.  The color of pink was used for years as a symbol of a fight for life.  Now, the City of New York has turned it into a color that celebrates death.  Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York, recently signed the "New York Reproductive Health Act" into Law, an act that greatly expands the women's ability to receive an abortion all the way to the point of birth.  The fact that he had the gall to sign this atrocity into law so soon after the annual "March for Life" and that he lit up the Freedom Tower Pink in celebration is the ultimate slap in the face to all people in the world that choose to fight for life, and not death. In Jeremiah 1:5 it is written "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born...

Twitter Promotes Repression of Free Thought

Image
Banned for Criticizing Sharia In yet another example of Social Media's Repression of Free Speech, Twitter suspended the account of human rights activist "The Apostate Prophet."  This gentleman, whos's real name is Ridvan Aydemir, is an Ex-Muslim from Turkey releases videos on social media condemning the inhumane practices of Sharia Law.  One aspect of Sharia that he criticized was the decree that mandates death for anybody who leaves the Islamic faith.  As a former Muslim, this gentleman has faced persecution, and even death threats for exercising his fundamental human right to chose what faith he wants to follow, or not follow.   In a recent tweet, he correctly points out that Islamic Sharia Law mandates death not only for leaving the Islamic faith, but also death for adulterers, heretics, critics of Islam, and gays.  We have seen numerous examples of this practice being carried out all over the world and when one studies the writings of Sharia, one ...

Daughter of Pakistani Imam in Hiding for Apostasy

Image
During the month of January, 18-year-old Saudi Arabian woman Rahaf Alqunun made international headlines when she fled from Saudi Arabia and fought against getting deported back when she informed the world via social media that her family will kill her if she's sent back because she chose to leave the Islamic faith.  The international outcry saved her life as she was recently granted asylum in Canada.  Unfortunately, her case is not an isolated one.  Throughout the world, untold thousands face death for leaving the Islamic faith because Sharia Law mandates that if you leave the faith, you must die.  Even if the Islamic governments don't carry out the sentence, society often takes the law into their own hands.  In many cases, those who carry out the murder of those who leave Islam are the individuals own family.  Such is the case for a young Pakistani Muslim woman whom I shall call "Irene" for the purpose of ensuring her safety.   " Irene" and ...
